Stephen Kwok
creates situations in which contradictions between a site and the activities within it may emerge. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelors in Business Administration in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), the Center for Performance Research (Brooklyn), Sector 2337 (Chicago), Delfina Foundation (London), American Medium (Brooklyn), Julius Caesar (Chicago), The Chicago Cultural Center, The Nightingale Cinema (Chicago), Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans, The Ogden Museum (New Orleans), and the Lawndale Art Center (Houston). He was a resident of the Performance as Process Programme at Delfina Foundation and Chez Bushwick in Brooklyn.
